 Term Windows Presentation Foundation
 Definition  Called the graphical subsystem of Windows Vista, WPF is for creating, displaying, and manipulating documents, media, and user interfaces. It is expected to use vector graphics. Pre-release code name Avalon. WPF simplifies adding 3D, data, vector designs, and video to your applications.
