Choosing a book online
One good thing about the bursting of the Internet bubble in 2001 is that publishers have quit trying to put out a book—any book—on every subject. They are selecting their offerings carefully and doing all they can to make each book a success. That's good news for the reader. But, it means reviewers are giving out increasingly favorable reviews. A four star rating is now on the low side for an average review. Therefore, readers must look carefully at what a book offers, for what purpose it was written, and for whom it was written.
If you find a book here that you intend to purchase as a result of one of our reviews, we ask that you support this site by purchasing it through this site via one of the Amazon links.
