The .NET Libraries are defined in ECMA 335 and ISO 23271 of the .NET Framework standards. There are seven of them as follows:

  1. Base Class Library (BCL)
  2. Extended Array Library
  3. Extended Numerics Library
  4. Network Library
  5. Reflection Library
  6. Runtime Infrastructure Library
  7. XML Library
